HELP US MAKE HAYDEN HOUSE
A HOME FOR WOMEN IN RECOVERY…

Our Vision

We envision a self-supporting, empowering, peer-run recovery home for women.

Residents will help each other maintain a recovery lifestyle and access the resources and support they need to live independently.

What Hayden House will offer…

Here are some details about what Hayden House will offer when we finish renovations and secure Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Recovery Housing Licensing…

Learn more about the DDAP Recovery House Licensing Program and what it means towards ensure safe, effective recovery housing for persons in recovery from substance use disorders here.

Hayden House is a safe, clean, warm and trauma-informed environment where you can get a head start on your recovery from substance use disorders.

We will provide very affordable living accommodations for up to nine (9) women with two shared bathrooms, a kitchen, comfortable living room, and a study.

We offer scholarships to ease transitions to help women go from where they were to where they dream to be…

We will have a house manager who is a peer in recovery from substance use disorders and mental health issues, and has a passion from helping others find recovery for themselves.

We will recognize all paths of recovery from Substance Use Disorders, although women in residence at Hayden House must be engaged in treatment and community organizations as best as they can manage.

Community Members in recovery mentor women at Hayden House to immerse them in the local recovery community.

We will grow many of our vegetables on site together, hosting a community garden in our front yard.

We break bread together regularly, eating a meal, enjoying each others company and learning to live in community.
